José Carlos Rodrigues was born in 1958. Nineteen years later, he took his first steps in journalism. His profession as a journalist and his love for gastronomic outings took him to almost every corner of Portugal. He snacked here and there. And he took notes. He worked at national radio stations, helped to establish regional radio stations, was a journalist covering politics, shows, economics, and even a teacher of these arts of reporting without inventing, of writing without fictionalizing reality.
