John Bradshaw

John Christopher Bradshaw nasceu em Adlington, Lancashire, Inglaterra, em 23 de junho de 1876, filho de John Bradshaw, um químico, e da sua esposa, Louisa Ward Jackson. Foi educado na Rivington Grammar School e estudou órgão com James Kendrick Pyne no Royal Manchester College of Music. Em 1900, obteve diplomas em execução de órgão e piano pela Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music e Royal College of Organists (Londres). Em 1901 graduou-se como doutor em música pela Victoria University, Manchester. Em 24 de fevereiro de 1902, em Liverpool, casou-se com Edith Garrod e tiveram quatro filhos e três filhas.
