Isabel Saraiva

Isabel Saraiva, é natural da cidade do Porto. Licenciou-se em Pintura na Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto em 1971. Exerceu docência no ensino público.
Desde então tem exposto individual e colectivamente em Portugal e em várias salas no estrangeiro nomeadamente em Nova Iorque, Barcelona, Seul, México, Paris, Toulouse e Palermo. Colectivamente está representada na Fondation Collioure em França, Galeria Fort-Cadaqués em Barcelona, Colecção Pró-Museu Mini Print em Barcelona, Museu Internacional Copy Art da Universidade de Cuenca em Espanha.
Recebeu o «Prémio Ayuntamento» na VI Mostra de Arte do Baixo Miño–Tui em 1985, uma «Menção Especial» no 10.º Convegno Internazional Arte e Poesia de Asla-Palermo em 1986, «Medalha de Mérito» na 19.ª Mostra Internazional d'Arte de Asla-Palermo e o «III Prémio» no IV Certamen de Artes Plásticas de Tui em 1992.
Continua a pintar e a expor até aos dias de hoje sendo as aguarelas deste livro prova disso.
