Igor Lugris

Igor Lugris was born in Melide in 1971. He graduated in Hispanic Philology from the University of Santiago de Compostela, has lived in Berzo since 2003 and has had various jobs throughout his life, from private tutor to chauffeur, gardener, administrative assistant, waiter or call center worker.
In addition to numerous articles in magazines, newspapers, and collected volumes, he has published three books of poetry: Who will defend us from the idiots? (Letters from Cal, Compostela, 1997); Mongolia. A rugosoid state entity (Artefacto Editorial, Compostela, 2001); and The book of confusions (Ediçons Infinitas, Ponferrada, 2006).
On the internet, you can learn about some of his artistic and cultural initiatives from recent years, such as the exhibition "Poetry to See/Poetry to Read," the strange corpse "There is a certain incomprehensible light in the distance (A corpse on the net)," or the "Write the Alphabet" initiative.
