Autora de vários livros de culinária e colaboradora em várias revistas da especialidade, Filipa Vacondeus era uma figura bem conhecida do grande público. Era presença regular na televisão portuguesa há várias décadas.
Reconhecida pela sua capacidade de cozinhar pratos deliciosos e de baixo custo, os mais de 30 anos durante os quais se dedicou à cozinha fizeram dela uma cozinheira de exceção, aliando os sabores tradicionais às exigências da vida quotidiana.
Faleceu a 6 de janeiro de 2015.
