Dulce Freire (Universidade de Coimbra), é professora auxiliar de História Económica e Social na Faculdade de Economia e investigadora principal do projeto ERC-StG ReSEED – Rescuing seed’s heritage: engaging in a new framework of agriculture and innovation since the 18th century no Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares da Universidade de Coimbra. Tem desenvolvido pesquisa em temáticas da história rural, agrária e da alimentação na Península Ibérica. Nos últimos anos, tem coordenado vários projetos de investigação relacionados com as mudanças na agricultura, alimentação, sociedade, economia e políticas públicas desde o século XVIII, cruzando investigadores e estudantes com diferentes formações científicas, como História, Antropologia, Sociologia, Geografia, Arquitetura ou Biologia.
