Claudia J. Fischer
Claudia J. Fischer is a professor in the Department of German Studies at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, where she also directs the Master's program in Comparative Studies. She received her doctorate in Literary Theory from the same university in 2007. As a member of the Centre for Comparative Studies (CECOMP), she coordinates the research group... "Synesthesia", dedicated to Interart and Intermedia Studies. In the field of Pessoa Studies, he published, with Patricio Ferrari, Screenplays for Films (Babel, 2011) and, in 2020, the article "A rhythm of another discourse. Pessoa's theory and practice of poetry translation"in the magazine The TranslatorOther studies about Fernando Pessoa have been published in journals. Real, Plural Person, Portuguese Literary & Cultural StudiesShe translated Thomas Mann, Rainer Maria Rilke, Walter Benjamin, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Bertolt Brecht and, in partnership with Vera San Payo de Lemos, the correspondence between Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan.
