André Batista

André Batista is a major in the Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro and deputy secretary of the Municipal Secretariat for the Enhancement of Life and Prevention of Violence in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro. He was a member of the Special Police Operations Battalion between 1996 and 2001. He completed an advanced training course for officers of the Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro and a postgraduate degree in Public Policy and Security at the Federal Fluminense University. He graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
