Nascida em Lisboa em 1981, é licenciada em História e Mestre em História Moderna pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Tem-se dedicado ao estudo da História da Casa Real e Corte e à História das mulheres em Portugal nos séculos XVII e XVIII, participando em vários congressos nacionais e internacionais. Publicou em 2008, Princesas e Infantas de Portugal (1640-1736), com a chancela das Edições Colibri, sendo também coautora dos livros Amantes dos Reis de Portugal, Amantes dos Reis de França e A Vida Privada dos Bragança, editados pela Esfera dos Livros.
