Roberto Bolaño

Roberto Bolaño nasceu em Santiago do Chile, em 1953. Mudou-se, na adolescência, para a Cidade do México, regressando ao país natal pouco antes do golpe que depôs Salvador Allende, em 1973. Instalou-se depois em Espanha, onde dedicou os seus últimos dez anos de vida à escrita, construindo um universo literário único, num estilo inconfundível e irreverente, no qual a violência, a marginalidade, a sexualidade, a literatura ou o exílio são temas recorrentes.
