Richard Coles

O reverendo Richard Coles, que nasceu em 1962 e cresceu no Northamptonshire, antes de se mudar para Londres, é o apresentador de Saturday Live, programa-estrela das manhãs de sábado da BBC Radio 4. Contudo, é também o único vigário britânico a alcançar o número 1 dos tops musicais (enquanto membro, na companhia de Jimmy Sommerville, do duo synth-pop The Communards, «Don’t Leave Me This Way» foi o single mais vendido, e certamente mais ouvido e dançado, de 1986). Ah, os anos oitenta… Fez a sua aparição no programa original Dança com as Estrelas e é convidado habitual em outros dos mais badalados – e com muito humor – programas da televisão inglesa, como Would I Lie To You?, Have I Got News For You e QI. Estudou Teologia no King’s College de Londres e, após receber as ordens sacras, trabalhou como coadjutor eclesiástico no Lincolnshire e na St. Paul’s Church em Knightsbridge, Londres.
