Vasilii Trediakovsky

This text studies the work and methods of 18th-century Russian poet Vasilii Trediakovsky. This material is used to detect mythological patterns in accounts of the past - in this case 18th-century Russian literature - and to investigate the role of mythmaking in modern cultural consciousness.
