The Men Of Gambier Bay

This is the story of men at all levels and the Japanese they faced in battle, first at the Marianas in June 1944 and then on October 25th, 1944, during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. It shows how The Gambier Bay became the only US aircraft carrier in World War II to be sunk by naval gunfire.
