The Loom Of Time

Kalidasa is a major poet and dramatist of classical Sanskrit literature. His poem, "Meghadutam" (The Cloud Messenger) tells of a divine being, punished for failing in his duties with a years' separation from his beloved. His other works included in this title are the play "Sakuntala" and the poem "Rtusamharam" (The Gathering of the Seasons).
