The Greek Anthology

The original 'Greek Anthology' comprises 16 books of short poems attributed to authors ranging from the 17th century BC to the 10th century AD. The poems are amatory, religious, dedicatory, sepulchural, hortatory and satirical. This 17th book adds a modern fictional book to the original 16. The poems in this collection are modern Irish poems which harken back to the original Greek Anthology.
