The Classics - a guided reading journal is a skills-based resource which develops key reading and research skills using authentic narrative and poetry texts. Each book contains Twelve lesson plans, each accompanied by an original classic or modern text. Research Skills section to support and encourage independent research skills. Differentiated book reviews that enable children to comment upon each text they read. CD with biography of each author and differentiated research activities.
