Stephen Kinzer é um jornalista americano que trabalha desde os anos setenta como repórter do New York Times. Enquanto correspondente no estrangeiro, tem trabalhado em mais de cinquenta países, cobrindo a história recente de países no Médio Oriente, na América Latina e na ex-União Soviética.
É autor de Crescent and Star: Turkey Between Two Worlds e co-autor de Bitter Fruit: The Story of the American Coup in Guatemala.
