Desconfortável, mas necessário

Small Boat não é uma leitura fácil... Este livro acompanha uma personagem que toma uma decisão que leva à morte de várias pessoas, e o mais assustador é que não vê nada de errado nisso. O que mais me marcou foi exatamente isso: a forma como o livro nos obriga a olhar para estas situações de outro ângulo. Não só para a personagem, mas para nós enquanto sociedade. Porque é muito fácil apontar o dedo… mas até que ponto também não somos um pouco cúmplices, mesmo que só pela indiferença? Há aqui muito sobre moralidade, sobre como pessoas “normais” podem fazer coisas horríveis sem sequer questionar. E isso é desconfortável, mas é mesmo esse o objetivo. Sente-se também um lado mais filosófico ao longo da história, mas sem ser pesado ou difícil de acompanhar. Está tudo ali de forma simples, mas com muito peso. É um livro curto, mas deixa um impacto enorme.
