Roger Hilton

Roger Hilton (1911-1975) was one of the pioneers of British abstract art. This book presents an account of his life, illustrated with works from various stages of his career. It includes numerous anecdotes and reminiscences recalling his sometimes outspoken relations with other artists such as Peter Lanyon, Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, and others.
