Melissa Marr
Embora no liceu tenham votado em mim como aquela «que tem mais probabilidade de ir parar à cadeia», decidi fazer uma pósgraduação e ensinar Literatura e Estudos de Género a estudantes universitários por todo o país. Pelo caminho não tenho conseguido resistir a experimentar coisas novas - inclusive trabalhar numa escavação arqueológica, servir copos num bar de motards, e fazer tatuagens fabulosas. Considero tudo isso pesquisa para a minha escrita. Para saciar a minha fome de experiências novas, morei na Pensilvânia, na Carolina do Norte, e no Sul da Califórnia, e faço tenções de ir deambulando com a minha família para tão longe e com tanta frequência quanto me for possível. Este ano, acho que vou viver na Virgínia.
