Nga Tangata Taumata Rau 1901-1920

This volume presents, in the Maori language, the lives of 85 Maori in the first two decades of the 20th century. The Maori population grew significantly in these years and the ongoing struggle for the land and for self-determination is expressed here with a renewed sense of purpose.
