Heather Pringle é uma jornalista canadiana que escreve sobre ciência e, sobretudo, arqueologia. Antes de se dedicar à escrita, foi investigadora num museu e editora de livros. O Delírio Nazi (título original: The Master Plan: Himmler’s Scholars and the Holocaust), sobre as tentativas pseudocientíficas de Himmler para provar a superioridade de uma alegada raça ariana, ganhou o prémio de não ficção Hubert Evans. A autora publicou ainda o livro The Mummy Congress – Science, Obsession, and the Everlasting Dead, e assinou artigos para as revistas National Geographic e Archaeology.
