Dimitri Verhulst

Dimitri Verhulst nasceu em 1972. Estreou-se em 1999 com um volume de contos intitulado De kamer hiernaast. Seguiram-se o romance Niets, niemand en redelijk stil (2001) e o livro de poesia Liefde, tenzij anders vermeld (2001), que foi nomeado para o Prémio Buddingh. Publicou ainda os romances De verveling van de keeper (2002), De helaasheid der dingen (2006), galardoado com o Prémio do Público Gouden Uil, e Mevrouw Verona daalt de heuvel af (2006). A sua revelação junto do grande público surge em 2003, com Problemski Hotel. Escreve regularmente para o diário flamengo De Morgen e para as revistas De Brakke Hond e Underground.
