Kocharethi

Perhaps the first novel by a tribal writer of Kerala, Kocharethi reconstructs the history and culture of the Mala Arayar tribe, and portrays their day-to-day struggle-from possession and dispossession of land to the challenges of preserving myths, rituals, social customs, and belief systems.
