livro muito bom, apesar de ser um pouco pesado no quesito de informação. o pacing não foi muito bem executado, sendo muito rápido algumas vezes e muito lento noutras, o que resultou numa experiência de leitura pouco uniforme. apesar de não ser o meu favorito da R. F. Kuang, não deixa de ser um livro excelente.

R. F. Kuang
Rebecca F. Kuang é a autora bestseller n.º 1 do New York Times e do Sunday Times da trilogia A Guerra das Papoilas, Babel: Uma História Arcana e Impostora.
O seu trabalho foi galardoado com os prémios Nebula, Locus, Crawford e British Book Awards. Bolseira Marshall, tem um mestrado em Estudos Chineses em Cambridge e outro em Estudos Chineses Contemporâneos em Oxford.
Atualmente, está a tirar um doutoramento em Línguas e Literaturas da Ásia Oriental em Yale, onde estuda a diáspora, a literatura sinófona contemporânea e a literatura asiático-americana.
