Japan In The Fascist Era

Fascism is sometimes characterized as a European phenomenon, but as this study shows, there were strong resemblances between Japan and in particular Germany during the first half of the 20th century. Both were disappointed nations, following romantic nationalist ideologies that were strongly racial in character.
