In The Shadow Of The Glacier

An American who had come to Trafalgar, British Columbia, as a draft dodger leaves land and money to the town to build a garden to honor other draft dodgers. His bequest tears the town apart, and before long a leading garden opponent is found dead from a single blow to the head.
