Este livro foi a continuação perfeita para Ninth House. Adoro mesmo a forma única como Leigh escreve, adoro voltar atrás no tempo e saber que, no final, tudo fará sentido. Todos eles são personagens adoráveis, mesmo com as suas falhas. Adoro muito a Alex, ela merece ser muito feliz. E fiquei OBSECECADA com o Darlington, que homem. Leigh Bardugo, eu amo-te muito, mulher. POR FAVOR, PRECISO DE MAIS DESTA HISTÓRIA!

Compared to the first book, this one felt less academic and more action-packed, with less murder mystery and way more demon battles, and I love it! Normally, I don't like when a book changes pace like this, but this one was so much better than the first one. The pacing was crazy fast, it felt like I was sprinting compared to the slow walk of the first one. There was some solid world-building, though I wish we had more focus on the secondary characters. But the morally grey characters? Chef's kiss! This book has some shadowhunters vibe, so if you are a fan, this one will be perfect for you!
