Hasanlu, Volume I €“ Hajji Firuz Tepe, Iran–€“The Neolithic Settlement

The excavations at Hasanlu in northern Iran, conducted by the Museum from 1956 to 1977, yielded valuable insights into the Iron Age settlement. A catastrophic attack around 800 B.C. caused the rapid collapse of public buildings, preserving a rich array of objects and materials in their original contexts.
