Embora o livro "Empire of Storms" não seja um didn't finish reading (DNF), não acho que seja o melhor da saga. Temos um foco maior na corte da Aelin e uma maior visão da sua relação com os mesmos. Aqui, conhecemos, também, o cadre do Rowan e aprofundamos a relação entre a Elide e o Lorcan, que é bastante padrão no que toca a enemies to lovers e opostos a atraírem-se. A leitura foi lenta e sinto que a tandem read é a melhor opção, de forma a ver, também, uma perspetiva diferente da obra, sendo que o Chaol está a ter a sua própria realidade, que veremos em "Tower of Dawn". Assim, embora o world building seja completo e a Lysandra salve a estória e nos impeça de morrer de aborrecimento, sinto que é uma obra mais suportável e interessante se for lida conjuntamente com "Tower of Dawn".
