Odd Arne Westad é titular da cátedra S.T. Lee de Relações EUA-Ásia na Kennedy School of Government da Universidade de Harvard. Autor de numerosas obras sobre história moderna e contemporânea, entre as quais The Global Cold War, galardoada com o Bancroft Prize, e Restless Empire. É coautor de The Penguin History of the World.
