Chorley Through The 1950s

During the 1950s, Chorley had five cinemas, some of them changing their programme midweek, allowing us to see plenty of films, if we had the pocket money. This title collects over 300 photographs, which depict the people and places of yesteryear Chorley. It captures a glimpse of the town in this decade of great change.
