Ainda me lembro de ter esperado pacientemente para ver o meu nome impresso na lista de novos governantes anunciados para o Governo de 2015. A lista foi crescendo e o meu nome não apareceu. Fiquei perturbada e chocada, as minhas aspirações na política acabavam de ser extintas. Fiquei tão entorpecida que fiz uma mudança drástica na minha carreira e aventurei-me nas indústrias criativas, como um conforto. Comecei a cantar e tornei-me numa sensação gospel em menos de dois anos (provavelmente a primeira economista que canta), abri uma linha de roupas que ofereceu mais de cem mil máscaras durante a COVID-19 e abri uma emissora de TV que hoje é uma das mais destacadas emissoras de televisão. Este livro fala sobre a necessidade de mudança e oferece um novo paradigma à forma como lideramos.


I can still remember waiting patiently to see my name printed on the list of the new officials being announced for the 2015 Government, the list went on and on and my name did not make it. I was distraught and shocked as I watched my aspirations in politics being dissipated. I was so troubled that I made a drastic change in my career and ventured into the creative industries as a solace. I started singing and became a gospel sensation in less than two years (probably the first economist that sings), I opened a clothing line that offered over hundred thousand masks during covid 19 and also invested in a TV station that is today one of the most prominent upcoming networks in Mozambique. This book is about having the ability to adapt and change and offers a new paradigm shift for leadership.
