Kiran Millwood Hargrave

Kiran Millwood Hargrave é uma escritora, poetisa e dramaturga britânica, formada nas universidades de Oxford e de Cambridge. Com o livro A Rapariga que Lia as Estrelas (Booksmile, 2016), ganhou em 2017 os dois maiores prémios de literatura infantil inglesa: o Waterstones Children’s Book Prize e o British Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year. O seu segundo livro, The Island at the End of Everything, foi selecionado para o Costa Children’s Book Award e recebeu excelentes críticas dos media. O seu romance adulto de estreia, Vardø: Depois da Tempestade (Topseller, 2021), foi bestseller imediato do Sunday Times, e os direitos cinematográficos e televisivos do livro foram adquiridos pela New Pictures, responsável pelas séries The Missing, da BBC One, e The Innocents, da Netflix.
