ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Maria Manuel Pedrosa

Nasceu na Figueira da Foz, em 1968, mas a infância foi vivida na Alemanha.
Estudou Relações Internacionais no Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas, em Lisboa, e começou a trabalhar em comunicação publicitária. Passados sete anos mergulhou na área da comunicação para a sustentabilidade por acreditar que "juntos podemos fazer coisas fantásticas neste planeta".
Neste âmbito, fez um mestrado sobre a responsabilidade social das empresas na Steinbeis-Hochschule de Berlim, para investigar porque é que parece ser tão difícil melhorar as coisas (quando talvez não seja assim tanto).
Partilhou com Isabel Minhós Martins projetos de comunicação pedagógica e foi esta experiência que as levou a escrever juntas o livro Cá Dentro, um guia para descobrir o (incrível) mundo do cérebro, das emoções, das tomadas de decisão ou da criatividade. Em preparação têm já outros projetos, sempre tendo em vista a ideia de que é colaborando uns com os outros enquanto sociedade que conseguimos os maiores feitos.
