Geoffrey Chaucer

Geoffrey Chaucer (c. 1343-1400) é reconhecido universalmente como o pai da literatura inglesa. Escritor, tradutor, filósofo e astrónomo, Chaucer foi também funcionário público, diplomata e juiz.
