Emily Bitto

Emily Bitto vive em Melbourne, Austrália. Tem um mestrado em Estudos Literários e um doutoramento em Escrita Criativa pela Universidade de Melbourne. A versão manuscrita do seu romance de estreia, Os Vadios, esteve nomeado para a edição de 2013 do Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript, e a versão impressa acabaria por vencer o Prémio Stella em 2015.
Esteve também nomeado para os prémios The Indie Book Award for Debut Fiction, o NSW Premier’s Prize for New Writing, o Dobbie Literary Award e o Dublin IMPAC.
