ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Barry Hatton

Barry Hatton nasceu em Doncaster, Inglaterra, em 1963. Estudou Germânicas no King's College, Universidade de Londres, mudando-se para Portugal em 1986.
Trabalhou como repórter no jornal Anglo-Portuguese News, no Estoril, e, em 1992, tornou-se correspondente em Lisboa da agência de notícias United Press International. Desde 1997 é correspondente da Associated Press, cobrindo a atualidade política, económica e desportiva de Portugal. Escreveu, com Luísa Beltrão, uma biografia da primeira mulher a ser primeira-ministra em Portugal, Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo.
