ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ann Cleeves

Ann Cleeves grew up in the English countryside, first in Herefordshire and then in North Devon. Before dedicating herself to writing, she worked as a parole officer, a Coast Guard assistant, and a social worker. Currently, she promotes reading at the Harrogate Crime-Writing Festival as a resident reader and is also a member of the 'Murder Aquad', working with other authors to promote the writing of crime novels.
