In the South Yorkshire market town of Bromersley, Detective Inspector Michael Angel and his team have a seemingly impossible case to solve. They are faced with the unusual situation of knowing the name of a serial killer, and the place where he is employed, but are unable to recognize him - a cosmetic surgeon has given him a new face.
