É uma leitura leve, rápida e muito viciante. Gostei muito, a escrita da autora prende-nos do início ao fim. Recomendo imenso!

I simply loved this book. This is a fast paced debut from Jennifer Lynn Barnes, perfect for readers who love solving puzzles and having a good time with a book. The characters are compelling and the plot is full of twists. Everyone would dream of being in Avery's place surrounded by a mysterious family and an even more intriguing house full of long buried secrets. Take my advice, dive into this world and imerse yourself in its enthralling atmosphere.

Comecei a ler este livro devido à sinopse e às recomendações de várias fontes. A capa dá a entender fantasia, mas a história é parecida de alguma forma com "A Good Girls Guide to Murder", uma das minhas coleções favoritas de sempre.
Um herança recheada de mistérios

Para quem gosta de mistérios, puzzles e jogos este é o livro perfeito. A personagem principal vai de alguém que dorme num carro para um milionária do dia para a noite mas não podia ser tão fácil assim, não é? A herança que ganhou vem com uma condição de viver por um ano na mansão dos Hawthorne, no entanto, grandes mistérios vem associados a esta casa e aos seus habitantes. Adorei este primeiro livro, nunca sabia o que esperar do próximo mistério e os plot twists são de deixar qualquer um boquiaberto.
