The European Reformation

The Protestant Reformation was inspired by and derived from Martin Luther, John Calvin, and other religious leaders in 16th century Europe. The initially religious movement rapidly became a social and political catalyst, serving to spread the new ideas of the Renaissance and change the face of Europe for ever.
