Martyn Rady

Martyn Rady, nascido em 1955 em Inglaterra, é professor emérito titular da cátedra Masaryk de História Centro-Europeia do University College London. Autor de várias obras fundamentais sobre a história da Hungria, desde o período medieval até ao século XX, escreveu também sobre temas tão diversos como os hussitas, o vampirismo e o imperador Carlos V. Possui doutoramentos honorários da Universidade Károli de Budapeste e da Universidade Lucian Blaga de Sibiu, na Roménia. O seu livro mais recente é Os Habsburgos: Ascensão e Queda de Uma Potência Global, publicado pela Temas e Debates.
