ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Bernard Stiegler

Bernard Stiegler is one of the most prominent French thinkers of our time. He holds a doctorate in philosophy from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, is the director of the cultural development department at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, president and leader of the international association Ars Industrialis, and a visiting professor at several universities.
With over thirty books published and translated into several languages, he is primarily interested in the cultural and political impacts of technologies and hyper-industrial capitalism on contemporary societies.
Among his works, the following series stand out: La technique et le temps and Mécréance et discrédit.
