ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Iain Pears

Iain Pears is an art historian, novelist, and journalist. She was born in Coventry, United Kingdom, and currently lives in Oxford with her family.
Before dedicating herself to writing, she worked as a reporter for various media outlets, including British ones. BBC and Channel 4and the German ZDFBetween 1982 and 1990, he was a correspondent for Reuters in various countries.
In 1997, he published An Instance of Fingerpost, which quickly became a bestseller international rights sold to multiple countries. This was followed by... thrillers, historical novels and a series starring an art historian tasked with solving mysterious cases.
Parallel Lives – A love story from a lost continent, now published by Porto Editora, is his most recent book.
