Vadim Scorlenski and his Spetsnaz squad are sent to New York at the height of the Cold War for a ‘training exercise’ that proves all too real when the 'practice' weapon they're carrying detonates, triggering a zombie plague that spreads across the earth. Somehow holding onto their identities, Scorlenski and his zombie commandos set out for revenge.
