Louie Stowell lives in London and is the author of several children's and young adult books. Louie says she writes about magic, gods, and monsters (mostly). But she also doesn't rule out writing about spaceships, murder, or spies. The only topics she promises not to write about are conversations between people about their feelings. Her writing career began with fact-based books, but it was hard work, so she decided to start inventing things, as she finds it more creative and humorous.
