Pamela Butchart

Em criança, Pamela teve a sorte de crescer numa casa cheia de animais de estimação e de frequentar uma escola do 1.º Ciclo onde aconteciam muitas coisas assustadoras e estranhas (bem, pelo menos na sua imaginação). Enquanto estudante, os empregos de Pamela incluíam: peixeira, treinadora de basquetebol e colaborou com uma banda de tributo aos Abba (muito má). Agora, quando não está a escrever ou a ir ao encontro dos leitores, Pamela ensina Filosofia a adolescentes.
Já venceu o Blue Peter Best Story Award e o The Children's Book Award.
Pamela vive em Dundee com o seu filho e os seus dois gatos fantásticos, Bear e Charles.
Se não estivesse a trabalhar como escritora e professora, gostaria de abrir um hotel de luxo para gatos vadios.
