Alberto Barros de Sousa holds a doctorate in Educational Sciences from the University of Évora and in Neuropsychology from Ashton-Ashley University, with a master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Bristol and another from the Institute of Applied Psychology. He has a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Lisbon, a degree in Art Education from the National Conservatory, and a degree in Physical Education from Macolin University (Switzerland). He was an educator, a primary and secondary school teacher, and later dedicated himself to higher education, training educators, teachers, and educational psychologists. He has published more than two dozen books on education and psychology, three of which were published by Livros Horizonte, and is the author of four psychological tests.
