Sergio Luzzatto (1963) é titular da Cátedra Emiliana Pasca Noether de História Italiana Moderna na Universidade de Connecticut. Formou-se na Universidade de Pisa e doutorou-se na École des hautes études en sciences sociales, em Paris. Foi distinguido com o Prémio Cundill de História.
